The Big Iron
Pine Canyon is proud to welcome back the Big Iron Invitational, a three-day tournament shaped by the history and spirit of Northern Arizona.
Named for the iconic ballad by Marty Robbins and inspired by the grit of the Arizona Rangers, the Big Iron was built to honor accuracy under pressure, calculated risk, and the kind of confidence that holds up when the stakes are high.
This is an invitational in the truest sense— just 16 teams will tee it up over 36 holes of gross, Modified Stableford play, competing for a $30,000 purse and the bragging rights that come with showing the most mettle.

- 11:00 AM – Registration, light lunch & parimutuel betting opens

- 6:30 PM – Welcome Dinner at the Main Clubhouse

Thursday, October 15
- 8:45–10:15 AM – Breakfast in the Men’s Grille
- 10:00 AM – Tee Times off Nos. 1 & 10 (lunch and snacks served on course)
- 4:30 PM – Happy Hour & Closest to the Pin
- 6:00 PM – Dinner in the Men’s Grille
- 8:00 PM – Late Night in the Men’s Grille

The format rewards aggressive play, so make birdies, go low, and pile up points.
Lodging
Onsite accommodations are limited. Club Cabins near the clubhouse and practice facilities are available to out-of-town players and guests on a first come, first served basis. Once Club Cabins reach capacity, Pine Canyon will help secure off-site accommodations and provide transportation to and from the Club for the duration of the event.
